Dulux announce Denim Drift as Colour for 2017

Dulux have announced the colour for 2017, a soft timeless blue-grey hue named Denim Drift. A team of international experts and trend experts from different design discipline came together and selected this shade as the one we will be seeing a plenty next year in the world of interiors, design and fashion.

The Spring Summer ’17 catwalks in Paris and New York brought us the latest denim trends and it looks like we all set for a return of the nineties with a revamp of denim mixed with pop art, fringing and glam-rock influences in the collections. Marc Jacobs collection featured fun, colourful patches applied to jeans, jackets and skirts (which take me right back to my old satchel school bag back in the hay-day!). And just as rhythm-and-blues go hand-in-hand, denim and leather are a duo that will never go out of fashion with denim paired with black and leather appearing as key trend both front and back stage at the SS17 shows.
